“House leveling” is the plain-spoken name for what foundation repair actually does: getting a settled, tilted, or sagging house back as close to its original elevations as can be done safely. What leveling means for each foundation type

When leveling isn’t the answer
Sometimes an evaluation finds movement that’s seasonal and minor — clay soil breathing with the weather, not a foundation failing.
